Upcycled Wool Mitten (Oct 24, Weds @ 6-8 pm)

Make your own Harry Potter inspired mittens. Get out those treasured unused wool sweaters and upcycle them to make super cozy and warm mittens! Mary will walk you through making your first pair of mittens lined with fleece.

Class fee includes instruction, basic sewing supplies, the use of class sewing machines, sweaters and basic fleece for lining.

Materials will be provided. However, please feel free to bring your own sweaters (2-3 wool or wool blend) and/or polar fleece of your choice you would like to use.

*Note: for a denser material you can send your wool sweaters through the washer and dryer, this will create a soft, dense material that will not unravel.

NOTE: This is a beginners workshop.

Light snacks will be provided.
